First Date Ideas
Trying to figure out what to do on that first date? Don’t know where to start? Here are some ideas on locations and activities to get you started.
Beach – You can enjoy the sun and the sand. You can show off that new swimsuit and see them in theirs.
Play Pool – If you both like to go shoot pool this is a great chance for talking, laughing, and possibly some physical contact showing how to hold the cue correctly. Or you can raise the stakes with a bet. “Whoever loses this game has to cook dinner for the other next Friday.” This opens the way to a second date.
Mini-golf – This is a cheap and easy activity that anyone can do and creates some fun competition.
Concert – Although there not much talking can go on at a concert, it is a great way to share an interest in music.
Amusement Park – You can go on a roller coaster, or take a ride on the Ferris Wheel, or even win each other a giant teddy bear. Any way you look at it, this can be a fun way to spend an afternoon.
Picnic – A picnic can be private and provides an opportunty for great conversation with no distractions.
Golf – Since this is a non-sweaty activity no one will feel unclean, yet there is some fun competition.
Horseback riding – A nice relaxing trail ride through nature would give you tons of opportunity for conversation.
Any way you decide to go, the first date can be fun and informative. Use the first date to get to know a more about what their interests are. This is the time to figure out if you have enough common interests to pursue it further.
